Kathy Ellis always thought of writing short stories about cultures and her travels; instead, forty-five years later, the poem pen answered the call. Writing poetry for her is a rich mix of creativity, therapy, and sharing thoughts on life. Kathy is a member of the Johns Creek Poetry Group, The Poetry Society of Georgia, and The Michigan Poetry Society. Her work can be found in various journals and online poetry websites. Kathy works as a cross-cultural communication consultant and English as a second language trainer in the international workplace. Kathy holds a Masters in Education and numerous certifications. Kathy has resided in six countries in Europe and Latin America and she has traveled to over 40 countries. She speaks functional Spanish and Portuguese and, sometimes, German and Dutch words enter her dreams. Kathy currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, housing international guests and multilingual cats.
